Within Shakta city roam gangs of stray dogs, controlling the abandoned place by any means necessary. They come in all breeds, bar-none. But such a melting pot of personalities is guaranteed to stir up trouble. Not to mention that outside Shakta stalk wolves of all kinds. They are the stealthy and cunning, banding together in close-knit family packs that will not hesitate to give their life for one another. Surely these two factions can exist in peace...?
Only there's one more thing; For every wolf and every dog, there is a familiar. A bird that is with them since birth, and will follow them into death. The two are bound by mysterious means that some whisper is magic, and as such, can never part. When one feels physical pain, the other shares. If one were to die, the other would as well. Some say that familiars are merely a representation of the wolf or dog's true personality...But there are those born without familiars.
Where are you? Are you a ruler of Shakta? A shadow of the wilderness? Or are you stuck somewhere between? Have you a familiar? Or are you the wild card that was born without? Only one way to find out...
